Encrusted Limestone reckon the shore at Beachport South Australia
I am fascinated by limestone in all its forms found in the Limestone Coast. This work captures the moment I looked down on a limestone rock on the shore at Beachport covered in remnants of living creatures and one live shell clinging to the rock, soon to be covered by the tide. My aim was to make this work appear to be a sample, a reminder of my unique coast. It is a complex build of materials usingfine art techniques.
